Derrick Martin Summer Sportsfest a Huge Success!

Denver, CO -  This summer, more than 400 people from the Denver area  had the opportunity to join Baltimore Ravens player and Thomas Jefferson HS grad Derrick Martin (www.DerrickMartin.org) and other NFL  players for the first annual Derrick Martin Sportsfest.

The Sportsfest consisted of a free football and cheerleading camp,  celebrity basketball game, and a celebrity bowling event.  Local kids  were provided with the opportunity to mix, mingle, and learn valuable
insights from some NFL players in regards to what it takes to be  successful in school, sports and life. Each participant received excellent instructions from the HS staff and also had the opportunity to mix it up with Derrick and some of his NFL friends.

Derrick is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School and was a  football star at University of Wyoming.  He currently plays for the Baltimore Ravens and resides in the Baltimore area.
